Mar 7, 2010: This article from Computerworld reports that existing Windows Mobile apps will not work with the to be released Windows Phone Series 7.Although there may be moaning and groaning about lack of backwards compatibility, big changes, especially NEEDED changes as in the case with Microsoft's mobile platform, require ditching the old and starting fresh. The Windows Mobile platform has past its life cycle many iterations ago, it's time to say goodbye.
